NRS in conjunction with Linksfield Technologies, is delighted to offer its clients an easy-to-use and cost effective solution to the burden of checking new and existing clients against HM Treasury’s Sanctions List, known as the Financial Sanctions Register (FSR).

The FSA has recently been urging small and medium-sized financial services firms to ensure they have sufficient controls in place to screen clients against the Financial Sanctions Target list (http://www.fsa.gov.uk/pubs/other/Sanctions Final Report.pdf) and this requirement is now included as standard in the “ARROW” reviews that the FSA conducts. The Financial Sanctions Register (FSR) Checker is designed specifically to help smaller businesses compare their customer lists with updates from the Treasury’s list of financial sanctions targets.

The FSR Checker runs on your local PC or Server and automates most of the checking process through its batch-searching capability. It automatically produces the necessary reports to evidence to the FSA that appropriate searches are being run regularly against the constantly changing blacklist.
